ABOUT ME

I’ve always had an interest in art. Any kind of art. In 1st grade, I won 1st place in a contest beating the 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. I received a crafts book & a five dollar bill. From there I thought, “Hmm, there’s money in this?” In middle school, it was my responsibility to design the bulletin boards in our hallway after the teacher’s and I shared ideas.                                                              I see the world as a small piece of a great and expansive work of art - a masterpiece created by a Master artist. I feel privileged to be able to capture small parts of such a  great work of art. The ability to share moments in time with others is very special to me and I’m truly grateful to be able to participate in this wonderful part of the overall “portrait of the universe” -  known as life...

Honorable Mention certificate from the Visual Arts Society in Cambridge, Massachusetts

*Runner’s World Magazine - I had a photo published in this national magazine, the subject was the winner of the “10K Great Raleigh Road Race”

*I use Canon EOS 35 mm film for print work & a Nikon D100 for my digital photography work.

I use the Epson 2200 printer for important print assignments & also have a 1.1Ghz Toshiba notebook running Windows XP for location work.
